Recenzii
Excellent advice for practitioners working in Early Years on bridging the gap between 'lucky' and 'unlucky' children. This book gives positive approaches with useful reflection points that can be used to influence practice in any setting. By highlighting the importance of working in partnership with parents, creating an interesting rich play environment and providing new learning experiences, this book will ensure that practitioners make a significant impact on children's lives. When I visit the settings that I support I will be introducing the observation sheet that will help practitioners to assess the learning environment as well as supporting them to develop their long term planning in order to show the specific experiences they will offer the children who attend their settings. I will encourage managers to closely observe the practitioners in order to ascertain individual strengths and play preferences so that adult-child interactions are strengthened and enhanced. I feel this book will be a brilliant tool that will help me to support settings further, developing and enhancing their practice to ensure that their children have the best opportunities.
