Dr. Ted Trippington, a mild mannered college professor in rural Iowa, unwittingly gains overnight fame. He conducts a series of experiments with chemical combinations and cannabis sativa extract on sick laboratory rats and cures them of several maladies. Injecting himself with some of the same serum, he produces quite a different result: he becomes the first human being to be completely covered in marijuana leaves.
