Published annually since 1980, the Reinsurance Underwriting Review (RUR) provides a comprehensive summary of the underwriting and operating results of the nation's major property/casualty reinsurers and the U.S. reinsurance market. The RUR compliments the Quarterly Reinsurance Underwriting Reports and examines: --Reinsurer underwriting, including balance sheet and invested assets; --Reserve development and leverage ratios; --Ceded reinsurance and recoverables; and, --Aggregated analytical content and historical graphs for participating reinsurers.
