Religionsphilosophie

Autor Martin Hailer
de Limba Germană Paperback – 31 iul 2014
Philosophy of Religion is widely dominated by Analytical Philosophy of Religion. Its main goal is to reestablish a theistic position, as can be seen for example in Richard Swinburne's and Alvin Plantinga's work. By contrast, the present volume reflects a continental point of view: Theistic positions do not hold firm to critique inspired by Kant, Wittgenstein, and others. Hence the book proposes a fresh look at the tradition of Negative Theology: To thematize "God" is imperative, but at the very same time God never is an object of thought. However, this does not terminate philosophy of religion, as theistic philosophers often suspect. Rather, Negative theology proves to be a key concept in order to deal with classical and modern topics such as proofs of God, the science-religion debate or a fresh philosophical look at the variety of the world's religions.
