Remembrance of the Sun

Jill is an American high school girl living in Iran during the year before the revolution. Shaheen is a young Iranian committed to bringing down the Shah. Theirs is a love story full of humor and joy-of climbing in the mountains that tower over Tehran, of music and mutual discovery. Yet this idyll is shadowed by the growing violence in the streets and the fear that in the end Jill must leave Shaheen behind in the chaos of war.
