Someone can build an airplane and put a pilot uniform on a person, but until that person is trained, learns how to control the airplane, and takes the controls, he cannot be certified as a pilot. A Christian is more than a title, surroundings, and a "uniform." Jesus called us disciples, which means "students" or "learners." This is the attitude we should adopt. Learning produces the best kind of change. According to what Paul wrote, we are "transformed" or changed by what happens in the mind. Specifically, we want to experience a change in thinking and understanding that helps align ourselves with God and with the best experiences of life. This devotional book will focus on the mind in light of the benefits of renewal and higher thinking. The change that produces the greatest personal progress and the change people will see, is the change that happens in your mind. As Paul said, transformation happens when the mind is "renewed."
