“It serves as a resource for doctoral students and novice researchers to build skills necessary to conduct research in parental involvement. Additionally, Latunde’s book is a resource for teacher educators and specialists who teach research courses or conduct training in parental involvement. … The uniqueness of this book is that the reflective questions at the end of each chapter help readers monitor their understanding of the reading and inspire them to think more deeply about parental involvement issues … .” (Nai-Cheng Kuo and Kristen Gilbert, School Community Journal, Vol. 27 (1), 2017)
