Reservoir Hawks of Wall Street

Autor Jack E. Enos
en Limba Engleză Paperback
A Grandson of a former Wall Street tycoon gets inspiration from his late Grandpa's old colonial archives to build the largest business empire in English speaking Africa. The business would be linked by the longest railway line in the Continent spanning from Cape Town in South Africa to the Suez in Egypt. He convinces his wealthy and powerful colleagues from Wall Street who call themselves the Hawks; some who include Investment Bankers and Oil Barons to fulfil this dream. They were the strongholds of Global Capitalism and the guardians of Wall Street in their time before the bubble burst during the global economic meltdown. The Hawks were a small clandestine cult of wealthy men with a majority of stocks in leading markets from New York, Paris and London. The hub of their business would be a small Country called East Africa because of its vast oil and gas deposits. However as soon as the Hawks arrive in the country, they are welcomed by disease, wars and anarchy. With the support of the US, Britain and the World Bank, they quickly mobilize resources together to salvage the nation from total collapse. Sooner East Africa must pay back all the loans and grants by dishing out oil licenses to their affiliated corporations; however the Country instead switches its loyalty to China. Clifford Stiller a former Black-ops and Corporate Espionage expert alongside other mercenaries are contracted by the Hawks to infiltrate this government until the last penny is paid back with interest. Soon their activities come under the limelight when a rival company leaks their secret dealings to an investigative journalist from New York. Some of the revelations disclose that power brokering pinatas especially in Broke States was partly responsible for the global economic meltdown."
