When most people think of the Revelation of Jesus Christ, they think of the book of Revelation and the entire end-time events that will be played out upon the earth. I believe there is a greater and much deeper understanding to this book. We need to understand that the book of Revelation is just that: a book about the revealing or unveiling of the person of Jesus Christ in and through His people, for there is He veiled. The word revelation in Greek means "take the cover off and look in." The definition from the dictionary says this about the word revelation: "The act of revealing or disclosing, something revealed especially a dramatic disclosure of something not previously known or realized, a manifestation of divine will or truth."
