Father is relaxing in his chair when the child decides that the teddy bear wants to sit in his lap, then the cat, then the child himself, then the sibling twins, then more toys. When finally the puppy joins them on father's lap it is too much and they all go tumbling onto the floor. The rhythmic verse is especially fun when read aloud.
