Notă biografică

Tanya Harrod is an independent design historian, living in London, who writes widely on craft, art and design. Her publications include The Crafts in Britain in the Twentieth Century (1999) and The Last Sane Man, her biography of the potter Michael Cardew (2012); for this book she was awarded the James Tait Black Prize for biography. Sarah Griffin is an independent curator specialising in ceramics and applied arts, with a background in modern and contemporary art. Nigel Wood has been an active researcher into the history and technology of ceramics since the late 1970s. He is the author of Chinese Glazes: Their Origins, Chemistry, and Recreation (2011). Garry Fabian Miller is one of the most progressive figures in fine art photography. George Young is a film maker whose family are neighbours of Richard Batterham. Rebecca Knott and Rebecca Luffman are Assistant Curators in the Dept of Sculpture, Metalwork, Ceramics and Glass at the V&A.
