Recenzii
Lomasky is one of the foremost and thoughtful libertarian (or classical liberal) thinkers today. His thinking is relatively free of dogmatism and is marked by a genuine effort to acknowledge the complexity of the issues of social and political order, including such questions as how a society should deal with externalities and the problem of rectifying or at least responding to historical injustices, types of issues often ignored by those who write in this tradition This text is a collection of important essays that he has published over the past 30 years on a wide range of topics. His work will primarily be of interest to scholars and graduate students in political theory and philosophy, but it is exceptionally well written and accessible to educated readers more generally. It also engages ongoing and vital political issues, often offering a new and challenging perspective. Summing Up: Highly recommended.
