Dr. Shirley Wanzer-Payne is a native of Fowl River, Alabama. She served as a former adjunct professor at Carver College of Atlanta, Georgia for ten-years. She also served as an adjunct professor at her Alma Mater Nova Southeastern University of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. For thirty-one years, Dr. Payne served the Palm Beach County School System of Florida as a teacher and school Administrator. Dr. Payne received a master's degree in Administration, an Educational Specialist in Reading Education, and a doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She is the author of Home-School-Community Mentorship Program for At-Risk Ninth-Grade Students.Dr. Payne is the wife of William Payne, and they are the parents of two daughters and the grandparents of three wonderful girls.
