Notă biografică
Emerson "Willie" Williams is retired from the car business after 35 years service and now works in real estate with his wife. He is an amateur historian specializing in the Civil War. He lives with his wife Ann and two dogs, Rowdy and Talley in Manakin-Sabot, Virginia, near Richmond. This is his first novel and is based on his great great grandfather's Civil War experiences. Other books may be forth coming, a sequel to Roaring Creek, a book on the car business and a novel about Lady, an English setter the family once owned are in the planning stages. He enjoys relaxing at his farm in Alderson, West Virginia when health and time permits. The author has two grown daughters, a Johns Hopkins nurse practitioner and a middle school teacher and coach. He also spends as much time as possible with his new grand daughter to whom this novel is co-dedicated.
