Doris Minasian Phillips first fell in love with the Scottish poet Robert Burns when she was 17 years old. Robert Burns' poems and letters have been her lifelong companions. She enjoys traveling and studying subjects like archaeology, medieval history, cognitive neurology, and anything Scottish. She has traveled to Scotland many times and made her home there for several years. After working professionally as a physician, Doris is now retired and living in Connecticut.
