Roberto Diez enters a Midwestern town to kill Sharon, a troubled former lawyer who is oblivious to the threat. As he patiently sets about fulfilling his contract, he is drawn into Sharon's world. The man who hired Roberto for this hit discovers federal agents are watching him, and decides he should kill off the only person that knows everything about him, his own favorite hit man, Roberto Diez. Roberto meanwhile has led a double life for over five decades, developed a conscience, and wants to retire and guard his own secrets.
