English Summary: Celtic traditions and Roman-mediterranean influences on art, crafts, religion, and forms of settlement have been in competition from the annexation of Gallia by the Roman empire until the collapse of the West-Roman empire. This book presents the results of this competition, as can be perceived through existing ruins, through the most important excavations, and in the extraordinary wealth of the museums of the region. The text, supported by pictures and plans, designs a panorama of remarkably developped towns and landscapes of the actual region of Burgundy at the time of the Roman empire.
