A comedic collection of 100 not so moral lessons of life.The inspiration for this book is owed to ancient author Aesop, except, Rose's Fables unlike Aesop feature people rather than creatures. However, these stories and their morals are meant to be more entertaining than moralistic. In addition, a number of these fables prompted delightful cartoon drawings by this book's outstanding artist, Joseph Kowal. A flip of the toga must go, not only to Aesop, but to those who forwarded potential subjects for possible conversion into fables. Finally, the author's son remarked, this is a book which belongs in everybody's bathroom.
