This Comprehensive Conservation Plan (CCP) for the 32,028 acre Salt Plains National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) (refuge) will guide management decisions over the next 15 years and set forth goals, objectives, and strategies for achieving the refuge's vision. The refuge will help to conserve the natural biological diversity of the broader Arkansas/Red Rivers (Ark/Red) Ecosystem with emphasis on protection and enhancement of habitat for waterfowl, migratory birds, and federally listed wildlife.
