Samantha Pojanowski is a very smart third grader, but she's not too sure of herself. She gets all the answers right in class which only makes the other kids tease her and call her Samantha Smartypants. When someone nominates her to run for class president, she starts to panic. Who would do a thing like that? How can she possibly get kids to vote for her? The other two kids running for president are the most popular in class. Making a speech makes her nervous, and she doesn't think she's good enough at art to make posters and flyers. Will Samantha make it against all these odds or just plain give up trying?
