Bernardo Santano Moreno is a Professor of English at the University of Extremadura (Cáceres, Spain). His research interests are related to English Literature (Medieval and Modern) and translation.
Concepción Hermosilla Álvarez is a Professor of French at the University of Extremadura (Cáceres, Spain). She has conducted research on contemporary French Literature, translation and the relationship between Art and Literature.
Severina Álvarez González is a Doctor in French Philology at the University of Extremadura (Cáceres, Spain). Her main fields of research are related to the use of new technologies in the teaching of French and also to translation.

Samuel Beckett wrote and translated his own works from French into English or vice versa. Beckett was conscious of the importance of self-translation.
