FAO's bestselling 2011 publication, "Save and Grow," proposed a new paradigm of agriculture, one that is both highly productive and environmentally sustainable. This new publication looks at the application of Save and Grow farming systems, practices and technologies to the world's main food security crops--maize, rice and wheat. It shows how eco-friendly farming innovations can help farmers meet future demand for those cereals while building resilience to climate change, conserving natural resources, reducing negative impacts on the environment and enhancing natural capital and the flow of ecosystem services.
