Saved from the Storm is a tale of adventure on the high seas. A bold sea captain takes on a ferocious storm, but the storm is too powerful. His boat is being dragged to the bottom of the sea by a giant whirlpool. How can the captain possibly be saved? Saved from the Storm uses allegory to help children understand Biblical truth. Children will learn the need for salvation from sin and that this comes by faith alone in Jesus Christ. The book includes a section, with Biblical references, that explains the allegory. This is designed to help guide conversations, especially with children, about the Gospel. It may also serve as a tool to teach children about the use of allegory in literature.
