This is the true story of how most of my dad's life he defied God and how through a tragic illness his life is changed forever. Saving Father is a story of strength, courage, and perseverance between siblings and the compelling struggle of trying to heal our father. The book is a bold attempt to share the pain of grief with the world as we journey through months of hospitalization looking through our father's eyes. It is a story of answered prayers, keeping promises, and the joy experienced in going home. The story explodes with living examples of God's everyday miracles and how "all things are possible through Jesus Christ." I began writing this book just weeks after my father's death, and through prayer and each tear shed, a ministry was born for me. Writing this story emerged as a tool for my own self-healing, a personal memoir almost to promote a healthy manner for me to grieve. The story became a blend of the most traumatic thing I had ever witnessed combined with joy so pure that God poured out upon myself, my sister's, and my Father in his dying days. My message for my readers is to experience hope where there was none, to receive a hug of comfort if you are grieving the loss of a loved one, and most importantly to come to know God as your one true healer and Jesus as your personal Savior.
