As many as one out of every four women in the United States has been the victim of childhood sexual abuse. Even worse, nearly one out of every three abusers is a family member. The impact of this abuse reverberates throughout the victim's life-and the lives of those around her. For those who are partners/mates of those women there is one overriding question: "How can I help her heal?" "Saving Your Princess-Affirmations for Partners of Survivors of Abuse" is a collection of observations and affirmations to help those who share a life with a victim of abuse. These written thoughts have been gathered from personal experience; my wife is a survivor. In living with the ebb and flow of feelings that she has expressed and those which I have felt, the core of this book came to be.
