The annual National Conference on Science and the Law brings scientists, attorneys, and academicians together to examine issues that arise at the intersection of the scientific and legal professions. The two professions take distinctly different approaches and do not speak each other's "language." The need for them to communicate better becomes more imperative with further advances in science and technology.
