Janine Majeski is seventeen and has a kicking life: a job with her friends, some money to spend. And football. As in: she manages and plays in her own factory soccer team. She couldn't be happier, could she? She never imagined there could be more, but she did dream, and when the chance of making that dream a reality comes to her, right out of the green, she puts her best foot forward. Barry Barnes, desperate to save his low league team from relegation and thereby save his job, was at the end of his wits; then he had the most absurd, yet the most rational idea possible. Why shouldn't a woman play for a professional men's league team? Together, the two of them set out to find an acceptable answer to that question.
