One year after stepping away from her vocation and career as an author, Michelle DeRusha was walking through the tallgrass prairie near her home, observing the subtle signs of early spring, when she felt the first stirrings of her soul beginning to reawaken. In that moment, after a year of winter dormancy and retreat, as spring peepers trilled a symphony from the greening bluestem, Michelle realized that creation and the cycle of the seasons have much to teach us about living in alignment with the seasons of our own souls.
