Notă biografică

Robin Brown is a board-certified microscopic middle ear surgeon who retired from practice in 2000. Beginning 1988, in he has written two books about Florida for adults: Floridäs Fossils, and Floridäs First People, and one for children, The Crafts of Floridäs First People. All three were published by Pineapple Press, all three are still in print and still selling. Robin is writing The Secret of the Springs together with author and friend, Scott Derks. Besides writing books and articles, his continuing interests are small-scale carpentry, making gifts for his seven granddaughters, fabricating fireworks, building and performing magic tricks, and body-surfing in the Gulf of Mexico. His wife Jan was the first president of the Fort Myers Junior league, and Robin and his wife were instrumental in beginning the Fort Myers¿ Nature Center. His health is fine despite his 85 years.
