Carter Francis currently lives in Scottsdale Arizona. Raised in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, Carter joined the US Navy and was in active duty service until November of 1985. After the service, he went back to college and then took a job as an assistant Golf Professional. This was an occupation he pursued for the next 23 years. His life in the golf industry allowed him to travel all over the continental US. He still plays golf when his back allows and he enjoys riding his old Harley. Carter's ultimate joy is helping other alcoholics achieve sobriety. He is very active in a men's Bible Study/Recovery group.
