Having a worthwhile sense of self is related to success for persons with / without disabilities.The Study of the self-concept is the study of individual differences. It can be most readily in Undertaken situations where differences are maximized. One way of doing this is by considering the impact of physical disability upon the person's concept of self.How various abilities of an individual translated into a concept of self and notions of self-worth is expected to have practical implications for interventions to raise self-esteem. Previous studies on self-concept of persons with physical disabilities have yielded discrepant results.This book aimed to shade light on the relationship that existed between physical disabilities and the various domains of self- concept.
