Joanne Eisenberger, has been in public education for 36 years. After two years in the Peace Corps in Liberia, she taught mainstreamed Special Education classes in Washington, California, New York, and Pennsylvania, and was 504 Coordinator in the Unionville-Chadds Ford School. A coauthor of Supporting Students with Learning Needs in the Block, she earned her Masters Degree in Special Education from San Francisco University., >Marcia Cont-D’Antonio is Director of Special Education for the Westchester Area School District. A coauthor of Supporting Students with Learning Needs in the Block, she has been in public education for 26 years with teaching experiences in elementary education and in special education K-12, as well as with the diagnosis of learning disabled students. She directed two federally funded projects to train educators to teach Special Education students included in their classrooms. She earned her Masters Degree in Special Education from Temple University and completed her graduate work in reading at University of Pennsylvania., >Robert Bertrando, a coauthor of Supporting Students with Learning Needs in the Block, was the Director of Secondary Education for the Unionville Chadds-Ford School District. He has been in the field of public education for 41 years, having begun his teaching career as an English/social studies teacher. He has been involved in designing and coordinating district initiatives to adapt curriculum and instruction to meet the needs of the diversified learner. He earned his B.A. from Pennsylvania State University and his masters degree from West Chester University.
