Seven Letters to the Seven Churches in Asia(Revelation Chapters Two and Three)

Autor Repsaj Jasper
en Limba Engleză Paperback
The seven letters to the seven churches in Asia were written to reveal the complete conditions and situations among all the local churches existing on earth during the time when apostle John was in the island of Patmos. This book unveils what the Lord Jesus wanted to reveal to each of the seven churches concerning their conditions and what each church needed to do in order that they might be able to complete their salvation journey to receive everlasting life. When Johh wrote the seven letters, the cities of Ephesus, Smyrna and Philadephia already had false churches(false believers gathering in congregations) and false prophets and false apostles, and they outnumbered the true believers in these three cities. The church in Pergamon and the church in Thyatira were being invaded by false prophets spreading and preaching false gospels to the true believers. As a result a number of true believers began to believe in the false gospels and followed the teachings of false prophets. This way the true believers were falling away from the faith. In Sardis and Laodicea there were no false prophets and false teachers, yet a number of believers were falling away from following the Lord Jesus Christ by walking according to flesh(self) or doing their own works and not the works of the Lord. The KEY words used by the Lord Jesus Christ in addressing the churches in Asia are: WORKS, REPENT, OVERCOME AND HEAR WHAT THE SPIRIT SAYS TO THE CHURCHES. It is a BIG lie to teach that salvation does not require WORKS to be done by believers. The Lord Jesus emphasized in the beginning of each of the seven letters the necessity that believers must do and complete His works in order for them to receive everlasting life. Those who fail to complete His works will not receive everlasting life. It is a BIG lie to teach that repentance need only be sought ONLY at the beginning when one is called out to follow the Lord Jesus. The Lord in His letters to the churches in Asia required believers to live a life of repentance, meaning to deny utterly selves and bear their crosses to follow Him in order to receive everlasting life. It is a BIG lie to teach that everlasting life is received the moment a called out one accepts Jesus as Lord and Saviour. The Lord Jesus emphasized to all the churches in Asia that they must all be overcomers against everything that will impede them from following the truth, the gospel of salvation as the requirement to receive everlasting life. And finally, the Key to salvation that is hardly taught by Christian authors and theologians and preachers is the Holy Spirit. The Lord Jesus Christ revealed that all believers must Hear what the Spirit is saying to them. This means all believers must listen carefully the directions and instructions of the Holy Spirit, the One living in all true believers' hearts and FOLLOW HIM. The Holy Spirit who represents the Lord Jesus Christ living in every true believer is the One who will lead all true believers into all the truth. The truth is the word of the God. This means all true believers must be led by the Holy Spirit to be fully obedient to the Word of the God or must fulfil all righteousness. This is the only way to everlasting life. In other words the Lord Jesus Christ is the Only True Shepherd(Pastor) who will lead His sheep to everlasting life.
