Sex and the Law is primarily intended as a guide for health and community workers in New South Wales, but is written in a clear and concise way that makes it useful and accessible to the general public. The book makes wide use of case studies to highlight particular aspects of the law FPA Health provides medical services and research, training of doctors and health workers and education programs to promote sexual and reproductive health and awareness of issues concerning sex to the people of New South Wales. It is an independent, not-for-profit body and was previously known as Family Planning Australia.
