Notă biografică

Neil Carr is an Associate Professor in the Tourism Department at the University of Otago, New Zealand. His research focuses on aspects of leisure and tourism behaviour including sex and alcohol consumption. In particular, Neil's research is focused on young people, university students, children, families, and non-humans (particularly dogs) and their owners. Neil has published over 35 peer-reviewed papers in a variety of academic journals and edited books and supervised over 20 PhD students. Dr. Yaniv Poria is a senior lecturer at the Department of Hotel and Tourism Management, Guilford Glazer School of Business and Management, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel. His main research interest is people experience at heritage settings as well as the conceptualization of heritage tourism. Additionally, he studies groups usually ignored in the tourism literature, among them the gay and lesbian population and people with disabilities.
