No Matter how careful we are in managing our personal lives in a responsible way, we can be at the mercy of certain events that can disrupt and challenge our skills in personal crisis management. Be it Mother Nature, a military conflict, or an severe economic upheaval; all can cause an unexpected disruption in people's lives. From this comes the challenge to responsibly manage our daily lives, keep our sanity, and keep from harming ourselves and our well being in the midst of our shaken stewardship. The author was shaken to the core during the severe financial downturn of 2009. The experience set him on a course of poetic expression of despair, love, and hope. He had never penned a poem before, but it was his vehicle to psychologically cope with his downfall from a life of comfort to one of poverty, humiliation and despair. Most people will be able to identify with his experiences experessed in his anthology of over twenty poems.
