What's in YOUR closet? Lee St. John's is overstuffed with mementos, keepsakes, and quite possibly junk that triggers memories of her parents, her husband and children, her friends, and her former students. She's got a lot of stuff in there. And most of these recollections are outrageous As an only child, Lee hardly knew the meaning of the word "NO." She did not have a "pause" button in many of her thoughts and actions. She tried to behave like the Southern Belle that she was brought up to be but sometimes she just couldn't help herself. She gave her parents fits and now, as a parent herself, she is getting her comeuppance: her own children are not listening to much of what she has to say about the souvenirs she finds in her closet which represent her life stories. She decided to chronicle these events so that one day when her memory is gone, her tales are not. Maybe now her boys will laugh (and hopefully, so will you ) at their mother's antics as she describes these reminders from that nutty life of hers.
