Dhariq Pheng is happy with his life. He loves his job as a Navy SEAL and is proud to serve his country. He is an Extractor. He is the one called in when the military is unable to free American prisoners' of war through proper channels. He is called in to extract Dr. Daniel Knight who was kidnapped by a group called RFC - Reformers for Columbia. Daniel Knight is an OB-GYN. He volunteers with Doctors without Borders. He was held hostage for over three months and was rescued by his mate Dhariq. The doctor is in no shape to pursue a relationship or even answer the mate bond so Dhariq decides to give him time. Six months later while on leave, Dhariq seeks out his mate only to find him married to a woman. Feeling as if he had been betrayed he re-enlists for an additional tour. He has sworn off relationships and hopes to never see his mate again. But Dhariq should have known that Mother Nature is a bitch and no one turns their backs on her wishes.
