In this stand-alone story which chronicles her fourth adventure, Japanese industrialist's daughter, Shinobu Yamashiro - accompanied by her daughter and sister (Satsuki and Anzu), arrives in Newfoundland to spend the Christmas and New Year vacation; but soon, the trio become involved in a series of incredible events, at whose heart lurks a monstrous white whale that makes other such creatures seem as fearsome as goldfish.
