This is a collection about the Japanese principle of Shinrin-Yoku, which translates roughly into "forest bathing." The concept is that by going into the forest alone, without technological devices, one can restore themselves mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. A very dear friend gave me a book on Haiku because I was interested in the style. I was lucky enough to move to an area profuse with natural and wild settings after the beginning of the book, as park spaces were unable to give me the isolation and disconnection I required to restore my soul. This is my journey to finding and falling in love with me.
