Shiver: The Wolves of Mercy Falls
Autor Maggie Stiefvateren Limba Engleză CD-Audio – 30 iun 2010
For years, Grace has watched the wolves in the woods behind her house. One yellow-eyed wolf--her wolf--is a chilling presence she can't seem to live without. Meanwhile, Sam has lived two lives: In winter, the frozen woods, the protection of the pack, and the silent company of a fearless girl. In summer, a few precious months of being human . . . until the cold makes him shift back again.
Now, Grace meets a yellow-eyed boy whose familiarity takes her breath away. It's her wolf. It has to be. But as winter nears, Sam must fight to stay human--or risk losing himself, and Grace, forever.

Geninna Ariton a dat nota:
I have to admit, I was hesitant to read a book about werewolves (my background in this particular topic isn't great, apart from Twilight the only other book wolves that I have met were from Shadowhunters). But I was eager to try as I have heard good things about the author's writing. And lo and behold, I actually liked it. The plot is simple, but the writing pulled me into it. And I was shocked to find myself more than a hundred pages in without stopping and wanting to know more about Grace's life. She isn't the best MC out there, but she has her strengths. I have read a lot of people compare this to Twilight - but no offense to Twilight fans, this book's writing style is a thousand times better.
