Modern Arab Poets list cannot miss the great popular Egyptian poet: Abdul Rahman al Abnoodi. The collection in this book and introducing it is part of Ihyaa al Turath al Arabi fil Mahjar (Rebirth of Arab Heritage in Diaspora) project, supported by the Arab American Encyclopedia, both projects are financed by spiritual and material support from the Arab Palestinian scholar and writer, Dr. Hasan Yahya, Professor of comparative sociology. The purpose of the projects is to enhance knowledge among young Arab generations in Diaspora. Dr. Yahya resides in Michigan, USA. He has four children and ten grandchildren.
