A young boy falls from atop a huge boulder on the banks of the beautiful but treacherous New River in West Virginia and lands in the water. He is sucked, by the heavy current into an underground sinkhole. There, he struggles to survive in the dark, hoping to find a way out. All he has with him is a pocket flashlight, a candy bar, and his wits. But he is not alone.
