Notă biografică
Born and raised in the Atlanta metro area, S. Combs was heavily influenced by many Romantic literary masters of tragedy including Edith Wharton, Elizabeth George Speare, and Ernest Hemingway. As a preteen, examining the lyrics of new wave musical artists and analyzing the mythical story lines of science fiction sagas in literature as well as cinema, his innate desire to create evolved into a never ending need to explore beyond the limits of human imagination. As a teenager, he began an irrepressible love affair with poetry, began writing outlines for short stories and novels which he would revisit at a later time. His first production, Six Senses, released on November 23, 2013, strives to revive the forgotten simplicities of the human experience we call 'Life'. "I have always been creative, well skilled at building and designing anything imaginable and unimaginable. Innovation is the foundation of my character. I have always been fascinated with literature, stories and poetry; life that you create from nothing, or stories created from life experiences. Oscar Wilde said, 'Life imitates art far more than art imitates life.' Growing up, my spiritual and mental growth was fed by listening and digging deep into the lyrics of songs and the words of literature. Through this written art form, I discovered what was Truth amid a world of Untruth. Having an unappeased admiration of art and architecture, from an early age, my need to create evolved into a secret unbridled adoration of building or creating within Literature. The more I loved it, it cradled me, fed me, comforted me, and empowered me. And here I am, in love with the one who raised me, nurtured me, and loved me first... The Art of Writing."
