Amnesty International's Irish Section has published this book to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Thirty leading social policy commentators from Ireland were invited to reflect and write - from their personal point of view - on the relevance of this Declaration to Ireland. The book offers a unique insight into how the values set out in the Declaration are protected and respected in Ireland, sixty years on from its adoption.
