Notă biografică

When not writing in his spiral notebooks, Jason M. Burns can be found outside getting his tattoo-covered arms dirty where he spends the warmer months hybridizing daylilies and tending to his koi pond. Type A even when typing, the former public relations professional made the leap into the comic book industry in 2004 after being approached to write a short story for Dead@17: Rough Cut, Volume 1. Since that time he has written and created a number of critically-acclaimed and commercially successful comic book series and graphic novels, including Jericho: Season 3, which appeared on the New York Times Best Sellers list. He has worked as Editor in Chief for Ape Entertainment where he spearheaded book lines for Sesame Street and the DreamWorks Animation stable of titles and most recently served as Chief Creative Officer for Neymar Jr. Comics, the publishing company of international soccer star Neymar Jr. There his writing was translated across six languages and reached over 40 million people worldwide. In addition to comic books, Burns also works in Hollywood where he has a number of television and film projects in development. Burns currently lives in Massachusetts with his wife, two children, and a trio of rescue dogs with unnecessarily silly names, Gabriella Von Gooey III, Bark W. Grizwold, and Bad Bad Leroy Brown.
