Editat de Bjorn Blom, Lars Evertsson, Marek Perlinski

In the wake of widespread austerity policies in a number of nations throughout Europe, the time is right for an assessment of the current state of welfare and caring professions in the region. This book offers in-depth understanding of the everyday work of professionals in these fields in different national and social contexts, viewed through an interdisciplinary lens and from different empirical and theoretical perspectives.
