Recenzii
"The lessons, which align with the AASL Standards, are highly detailed and offer step-by-step instructions and discussion questions, as well as resources like anchor charts, activities, and worksheets. While the lessons are clearly directed towards the elementary level, they are easily adaptable based on the age of different learners ... With the growing emphasis on SEL in schools, this book is a valuable resource for librarians supporting this important work."
— School Library Journal (starred review)
"A valuable tool for school librarians looking to enhance social and emotional learning (SEL) in their school libraries ... The organization of Schlosser’s prose lends itself to busy school librarians and LIS students due to the ordered numbering, bulleting, and segmenting of the prose within the book. In addition, there are two appendices: one with recommended additional picture books to go with each Competency and the other with supportive online resources that correspond with lesson plans."
