About the Authors

Notă biografică

Kathleen J. Fitzgerald is Teaching Professor of Sociology at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Her research focuses on classroom pedagogy, particularly the teaching of controversial subjects such as race/ethnicity, sexuality, and gender. She has taught courses on race/ethnicity for 28 years, and is also co-author (with Kandice L. Grossman) ofTheSociology of Sexualities, Second Edition (SAGE).
