Spanish shares an enormous number of words with English. Full advantage is taken of this fact, and you will immediately recognise Spanish words on seeing them. Other words, if not immediately recognised, will be obvious from the context in which they are used. I believe it is far easier to learn something new, through the medium of words with which you are already familiar, than with words which appear quite strange. This course is designed to enable you to create sentences yourself, because you will absorb the structure of the language as you move forward.
